Mod Sixties

Hung out with Obtrusiv yesterday. I'm not sure where it is we are in these photos but I really liked their geometric shaped walls. It looked very Mod Sixties and I tried to make the photos look as if we were time traveling but I'm not sure if I succeeded in doing that. I really want to take a photoshop class! I also really want to learn how to make gifs.

Christa Louise Spring/Summer 13' Collection

Yesterday I did a fun shoot for Christa Louise. Her Spring/Summer collection is beautiful and very whimsical. The colors are so pretty. My favorite scarf is the pink one with the giraffe trimming.

Holiday Party // MAC

Links: MAC Mode

These are the second pair of pants I chose from the MAC SS'13 collection. I wore it to my aunt's birthday/holiday party. I love the unique and unconventional print.

Thomas & Helen are the cutest most adorable little twins ever. They are so sweet and lovable. I miss being a kid sometimes. I miss running around without any worries. Thomas is so funny. I asked him if he had a girlfriend and his response was "I have tons. I'm cute thats why." He's going to grow up to be a heartbreaker I bet. The food was delicious at my aunts, and I enjoyed the lumpia, my favorite filipino dish. She gave me a book called Strengths Finder, because she knows I love reading those kind of things. She also gave me a unicorn stuff doll whose horns are pink.

Finals Week

Not much happened today. I studied and took two finals. Only a few more days until the semesters over and then I leave for Florida for a month! For Christmas my father got me a new camera which I am excited for! My family isn't much for surprises and I usually always know what I'm getting before I even open the box which kind of sucks because I do like surprises. I still have to do my Christmas shopping. I am terrible at gift giving and I usually get it wrong. Sometimes, when I'm not feeling lazy, I like to do sentimental things like draw cards or make hand made things. I was speaking to my friend today and she's in a intro to jewelry design class where she made such cool things like an elephant neckalace. I think I want to take that class before I graduate. Taking all business classes can get boring and something fun like that seems refreshing. I also want to take a photoshop class. Anyway I have to get back to studying. Good luck on finals every one!

MAC SS 13 Boyfriend Jeans

Links: MAC-Mode

I've always admired boyfriend jeans but I never thought I could pull them off. I had the misconception that they were only made for girls who are tall. I wish I didn't wait this long to get my hands on a pair, but I'm glad that the first pair I tried on were MAC. They're so comfortable. I don’t normally wear jeans in the summer because the fabric hugging against my skin doesn’t do well with sweat but these give enough room to eliminate that problem. Even though these were made for Spring/Summer, I can definitely wear them all year round. Its the perfect kind of baggy. I can go out, stuff my face until my belly protrudes and still feel skinny in these gift-from-heaven jeans. Usually when I know I'm going to eat a heavy meal I stick to wearing a dress or track pants, but now I know I can add boyfriend jeans to that list.

You know when they say don't judge a book by its cover, because there might be more to it? MAC focuses on details both outside and inside the jeans. Paying attention to details is important when designing clothing, and MAC excels in that area. Inside the boyfriend jeans you find a distinct form of stitching. The insides of the pockets are made with a paisley pattern and the threads used are the colors of purple and neon green, which can be seen when you cuff the ends of the jeans. The texture is soft and smooth, especially when you place your hands inside the pockets.

I must seem like a crazy materialistic girl rambling about how great these jeans are, but I am really just intrigued by the craftsmanship of them and its artistry. Fashion itself is an art form and all the hard work that goes into it really shows in the final product.

Cristiano Magni PR

Today I was invited to check out MAC's Spring Summer 2013 pants collection, all of which are absolutely beautiful and unique in their own way. For instance the prints that were used and the feel of the texture against my skin. I love that the pants were also stretchy, almost like miracle pants. The type of pants that mold into any woman's shape and I swear I'm not just saying that. When I first picked them up I was afraid it might not fit me but when I tried them on it just easily slid right on. It was so hard to pick out two pants from MAC's SS13 collection but I finally made a decision on these boyfriend jeans and these mustard colored pants with a vintage print. Check back on my posts to see how I style them because my grey sweater and beaten up booties do not do those pants the justice it so rightfully deserves.

Also please check out Strenesse. After I viewed CMagni PR's website and saw a photo of a model wearing the sequined gold dress, seen in one of my photos above, my jaw dropped at how beautiful it looks on.

Every one was so lovely at CMagni PR and I am so happy I got the chance to meet them. Their showroom is beautiful. The atmosphere was positive and welcoming. The experience was enjoyable.
