I've been working from home for the past two weeks given the nation's current situation. It's a weird time right now, and I can hardly believe I'm living through a pandemic. It's looking as if this will last until July — I'm just praying it ends soon and that our economy stays afloat. Every second I'm receiving news notifications about more and more COVID-19 cases surfacing in New York City, I'm trying to stay calm and not panic.
Working from home has been nice BECAUSE I got a dog in November, his name is Koji. Being with him all day is lovely and he makes me smile often. Here's a photo of him.
He's so shy and is a sweetheart. He's very affectionate and such an EARLY riser — I need to wake up so early now, and I'm not really a morning person. I'm also a neat freak, and he sheds like crazy which has been tough but he's worth these struggles. He's teaching me patience.
