A low-key day

Fries, Chicken + Couscous, Grilled Haloumi from Jacks Wife Freda

Had a super chill Saturday. Haven't spent a day with myself in awhile, so it was nice. Stayed in bed until noon. Got coffee, and then headed to Soho for a lash lift. Lash lifts are kind of an excruciating experience, especially for me because I am a restless person. I had my eyes glued shut for an hour. I day dreamed for most of it. I love how my lashes look though, and its way better then getting lash extensions. I bought a lash serum to... hoping it works. I want long spider looking lashes lol.

After my lash lift appointment I went home and ordered food from Jacks Wife Freda. I splurged, and spent almost 100 dollars on take out which is really stupid but worth it because it made me happy! The fries from Jacks is to die for. And so is their home made hot sauce. After I watched Scoop, some Woody Allen movie while I read through my entire blog, which is why I'm blogging again, because I loved being able to read back on what I was doing in 2012. So much has changed since. I read one post where I spoke about how time is moving so fast, that pretty soon I'll be talking about being 30..which I now am. I am 30. It's honestly not as bad as I thought it would be.

I remember being so afraid of being 30 but honestly it's great. I feel less lost.

  1. That sounds like such a wonderful day! Sometimes, you really do need those days to treat yourself. The fries sound fabulous! And I totally know what you mean about being 30. 30s have been so much better than 20s thus far for me. You just know yourself better.
